Getting to Dublin Welcome Center From Airport
By bus
Take bus 41 or 41B from the airport and get off on Lower Abbey Street. Lower Abbey St. is parallel to Eden Quay Street. The Dublin Welcome Centre is just on the corner of Eden Quay Street and Marlborough Street. (The price is 1.65 euro.)

Getting around Dublin- In Dublin, there is no metro, but there are several transportation options.
Tram - The newest tram transport is LUAS, which covers the city from east to west. http://www.luas.ie
Dublin Bus http://www.dublinbus.ie
Nitelink – operated by Dublin Bus, this is a cheaper alternative to taxis to travel home at the end of a night out.
Rail Transport offers either the DART or train. DART is the urban rail network which covers the coastal areas. http://www.irishrail.ie
Bus Eireann Expressway service travels to major towns throughout Ireland. http://www.buseireann.ie
Accommodation
Accommodation in Ireland can be found once you are here. It typically takes 1-2 weeks to find a place that suits all of your needs. Be prepared to pay a one-month deposit fee and one month of rent when you find the appropriate accommodation. The best place to start your search is the 'Classifieds' section of the Irish Independent or Evening Herald newspapers. Prepare your CV – You will need an updated CV to take to recruitment agencies and to apply for any job.
Get PPS Number – Needed in order to get a job.
Open a Bank Account – Typically in Ireland you need a bank account in order to cash your pay cheque.

Employment Information
Typical salaries range from €17,000 up to €40,000 - depending on employee qualifications.
Minimum Wage is 7 euro per hour for an experienced adult employee.
Part-time staff normally earn from 9 euro per hour and up.

Emergency Health Services:
Residents of all EU/European Economic Area (EEA) member states and Switzerland, who are visiting Ireland temporarily, are entitled to free emergency health services on production of the E111 form (European Health Insurance Card). You can get this form from your local doctor or at your local hospital in your home country. It's free.

Public Health Service
Most visitors to Ireland are not entitled to avail of free or subsidised public health services (such as routine doctor visits, etc..), except in cases of hardship. Generally, visitors must pay the full price for non-emergency health services.

Tax Information
When you work in Ireland, Income tax and PRSI are deducted from your wages. If you work in Ireland for a temporary period of time or for part of a tax year, you will most likely be entitled to a partial or total refund of both types of these taxes. If you live in private rented accommodation in Ireland and pay income tax, you may be eligible for tax relief on part of your rent.
